1999 boxster front hood latch
in 986 Series (Boxster, Boxster S)

Hi, ok maybe the cable is out of order. But there is a second cable for a emergency opening for the front hood.
The best way to find those cable is to disconect the front wheel on the right side (co-driver).
when you look into the wheel housing on the right side you must find a cable with an grommet on the end of the cable. Maybe you have to disconect the plastic. pull the cable and normaly the hood must open.
SORRY for my bad english. I'm from Germany.
Regards Mario
