yup,
just got back from the Porsche dealer - I showed a tech the picture - and he thinks it is the power steering pressure line. He suggested replacing it.
anyone know how to do it?

Hello all,
I have a 2002 996 with 59,0000 miles on it.
I just completed the 60,000 service (spark plugs, poly-rib belt, oil change, air and pollen filter replacements)- using all the helpful hints I found on this forum - thank you!!
while changing the oil, I found small leak of yellowish oily fluid - I traced the source to a hose (see pic above).
Anyone know what this is- and how to replace it? I did find that my hydraulic fluid is low- is this related or not?

Hello,
re: my 2002 996
I find some green fluid on my garage floor - every now and then. I shows up on the floor below the engine next to the Right Rear tire.
looks like it's coming from the steering fluid line
anyone know how to replace it?
Thanks
