I purchased a used
· 2002 Boxster S
· 6 speed Manual
· US Spec Car
about a year ago. I have noticed that when I am stopped at a light sometimes I get a vibration from the engine. I don't notice any major change in the engine RPM's. I am fairly new to DIY auto projects. I was considering trying to clean the MAF. I do not have any CEL's. I have searched other threads on here but still am not sure they are talking about the same problem I have. I really only notice the vibration at this point when I am stopped at traffic lights.
Any idea why I might get these vibrations or kicking type feeling?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Squealing noise from Rear Driver Side Wheel
in 986 Boxster Suspension, Brakes, and Wheels
Posted
I noticed today that when the car is moving there is a squealing noise from the rear driver's side wheel. I am assuming its related to the brake but I can't be sure. Is there a good way to troubleshoot this problem? I had the pads replaced less than 5K miles ago. It doesn't matter if I am braking or accellerating its a constant sound that gets louder the faster the car is moving.
Thanks for the help.
