Hi-
Does anyone have instructions on how to replace the center console? And the armrest? I was planning on purchasing these items. The center console I was told by Sunset Import that a metal hinge kit is needed.
Thanks

I had my plastic window replaced. You can search for a local upholstery place they could do the job. Cost was 400.00 bucks.

when I'm sitting in the car and I want to release the trunk I have to open my door inorder to be able to pull back on the lever. Is there any other way to release the trunk without having to open the door?
Thanks

If I were you I would take the K&N back out - wrap it in newspaper overnight to soak up all excess oil in the filter. If you don't do that you will likely foul your MAF sensor and get a check engine light in a matter of days.
Ok..now I'm nervous..Why do you think I'll have excess oil? It's brand new. Maybe I'm not understanding the concept.
Should I just buy a stock are filter instead?

Hi All-
I own a 2000 boxster and I just had a oil/filter change. I went ahead and changed the gas filter and air filter as well. The car has 30,000. miles. My question is- I've replace my air filter with a K N filter. Is this okay? Will it cause any damages? I'm hearing conflicting stories and don't know if I should replce it back with a stock filter.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Loren, thanks.
Would you happen to have instructions on how to replace the armrest on the door?
