I have 3,500mi on my 997.2 C2S PDK and I love it. It is so much smoother than my 2006 M5 w/SMG was. The only complaint I have is the rough downshift from 2nd to 1st when in automatic mode with Sport Chrono mode engaged. It is very rough, depending on deceleration rate. Does anyone else have this problem? My dealer says they all do it and Porsche has released no updates.

The warning is probably disabled, use a PIWIS tool to enable the passenger warning.
What is a PIWIS tool and where would I find one?

Apple changed the design from working on 12 volts through a firewire connector to only working on 5 volts with a USB connector. CableJive makes an adapter which will cure the problem. I have one and it works well. Note, the iPhone with an adapter attached will not fit in the compartment, but the new iPod mini does.

My 2009, 997-2, PDK, C2S Coupe has no indication of a passenger who hasn't buckled the seat belt. Is this normal?
Thanks.

I have a 997.2 PDK with 4,000 miles on it. On the highway, I get 24 mpg. In town driving aggressively, I get 14. I don't know about the break in time.
