  1. I would suggest checking the condition of the battery/batteries as they can cause odd faults in these vehicles. If they test ok then your next step is to access all ECU's for fault codes. And as Loren suggested, you'll need access to the PIWIS or Durametric tools.

    Please provide model year and market in your post.

    Thanks for the reply . Battery is being checked this week .

    However I also get the occasional popping noise from the engine . I have had this checked and the read out came with the following codes

    16825 P0441 - emmission system incorrect purgeflow and

    16405 P0021A - camshaft postion (bank2) timing over advanced or system performance

    Model year is 2003 and UK market

    I would greatful for any advise
