so am i right to say that if i got a pcm2 i can plug and play in my 04 boxster or is there alittle more to it . is it just a head unit and wack a map cd in or is there an extra cd reading unit thanks -

if its any consolation its a july 03 build -
hi all. I just left my local dealership here in Australia and spoke with the service department about the OBC. I was advised that I would have to buy the stalk unit which needs to be replaced (which I knew). I then proceeded to ask about switching the OBC on and after reading so much about the Hacks going around was told I would to purchase the computer for it and get the job done. Now my question is, is this correct or is it a bluff to make some extra money for wanting it turned on??????? Is the 04 Boxster different to the earlier ones. thanks AusBoxster
