The tank part number is 996 106 147 56.
That is the latest tank so unless it damaged during the install it would be unusual for it to leak again.
I would double check where the leak is coming from.
Thanks Loren, I will check further and pressure test the tank again.

I do not know of anyone that has fixed one with epoxy - oil filler pipe yes - coolant tank no.
What tank part number did you get? There have been 5 or 6 tank design changes.

I replaced a leaking coolant reservoir tank 18 month ago with an OEM tank and it is leaking again. Is there anything that could be causing that? Also, can the crack be fixed with epoxy?

Nope, no wires if the car was not equipped with heated seats, each wiring harness is custom made for the options in the car. That being said, it is not that hard to add heated seats, I did it in my 00 996 cab. Go to this site http://dennisvogel.com/heatedseats/index.html for a full set of instructions, parts list etc. for adding them to a Boxster, this is what I used, just a few changes for a 996. If you need more info or help let me know.
Thanks for the info!

I have MY99 996 cab. without heated seats and I want to add seat heaters. Can anyone tell me if my99 996's are factory pre wired for seat heaters? Thanks!

Hi I just wanted to finish off this post.
I got my Blaupunkt long beach 35 DVD radio yesterday and Ubermensch is correct. The blaupunkt radios are pin-for-pin compatible with the beckers (except for the telephone mute) from the factory. They just plug straight into the car's wiring harness. I only had to swap the tel mute pin from 2 to 3 on plug "A". Also the antenna just also plugs straight in. I also made some removal keys for the becker out of an old credit card! It worked great and it was very therapeutic to slice that thing up! This unit looks really nice too, I'm very happy with it.
Can you tell me what the pin assignments are and what you used as a guide to make the removal key. Thanks

Can anyone give me the height dimension of the cup holder under the center air vents? Thanks!

I'd be interested in a red set, powder coated.
