Took the battery out and re-charged it. Luckily it hadn't destroyed itself.

The Stebro systems are LOUD. Drone is awful.

Having a few niggles of late with my Boxster.
It's been standing for a few months, in which time the battery died completely, so after resetting a few of the problem lights etc (with some help from here, thanks) i'm left with my CDR 22 not working at all, can't even enter the code, it's utterly dead. Fuse is fine, with power to one side as expected.
The left side wing mirror adjuster has stopped working too, right side one is fine.
Any ideas? :)

Thanks for that Aron, very helpful.

It won't be getting tracked again in a hurry!
Looks like the alternator has gone now too, battery warning message up on dash, charging V is 12.1. Been reading up on changing the regulator rather than the entire alternator, will have a word at the Bosch place down the road from my office tomorrow.

Loren, I don't have a code reader, and the car only went back on the road yesterday after 5 months in surgery. It will be going to a local specialist later this week to try and resolve the issue (s).
Like many, I like to look for potential solutions I can implement myself before spending my hard-earned, thats why i've signed up on here. ;-)

Got the ABS warning to clear (car is now mobile) but airbag fault still on. Have tried the reset procedure that I found on another thread (disconnect battery with ignition on etc etc) but hasn't worked.
Curiously, my passenger side wing mirror isn't working either...

The Porsche brand child seats (in the UK) come with a hanging buckle atached to them via a strap, it is this buckle that fits into the deactivation bar, not the standard seat belt buckle.
I'm curious as to which type it is, as I said ealier, from reading other material i'm led to believe it's a 924 item ,just looking for some confirmation if possible.

Hi Loren
The Boxster buckle doesn't latch into the unit I have.

Can anyone tell me which buckle fits the bar (as title)?
Looking to fit one but don't have or want a Porsche child seat with the correct buckle, believe it's a 944 item? Part no. would be excellent.

Hi all
I wonder if anyone out there can shed some light on the following, would be very helpful.
I've been repairing my 986 S (01MY) after a collision on a track day, it was a rear end inpact. None of the airbags went off, and the engine still started and ran after the impact.
I'm at the point of getting it back on the road, but have a few faults coming up on the OBC, those being "airbag failure" and "ABS failure", during the rebuid it had lost all power from the battery, and the LHS rear hub has been off completely. I'm looking for a reason why the warnings would still be showing, and what I can do to reset them?
Both warning lamps remain lit on the dash with the engine running.
Any ideas much appreciated. :)
CDR22 & mirror dead? 986 S, 01 UK.

Interesting you say that TP, may need to have a word with my bodyshop re the battery polarity, as I believe they boosted the car prior to when I collected it so I could close the doors/windows properly. Took several weeks for the alternator to give up though.
Bang on diagnosis, fuse blown on rear of CDR. Mirror problem traced to connector plug loose behind triangular panel on door.
