I recieved a 2005 C2S Coupe manual 6 speed for my Birthday and and have been having a problem with the nav unit.
When entering a distant destination city for a road trip after selecting the city, the streets are displayed based upon existing streets in that city.
these are old cities and well established streets, not new developments, so I'm unsure as to where to take the issue.
I have scanned the forums here and can't find a similar/matching situation, but I'm new, so ....
Any ideas, like the number one reason, etc.. like maybe an operator error?? who knows
A grateful newbie

Happy Birthday and congrats on the new Porsche!
If your car is equipped with PASM- Porsche Active Suspension Management, it is approx 10mm lower than a non-PASM car. It does not raise & lower, but rather starts 10mm lower than a non-PASM car.
The term "sport" refers to Sport Chrono. When in sport mode, there is an interphase with other options like PASM and PSE- Porsche Sport Exhaust.
The only cars that I know of that actually lower & raise, are the new 2010 GT3's, and this factory option (front lift) does not come out until late Fall build dates. The price is about $4K. This helps to get the car in places...driveways, and such.

Thanks

Just got my first 997 (2005 S2 coupe, manual shift) for my birthday and was told by a friend that
the sport mode changes the suspension to a degree that actually lowers the car. Can anyone
verify this is true or false and if true, could you please point out a reference to the technical
specs on the pertinent area(s).
Thank you from a grateful beginner.

I have a 2005 997 with PCM Nav and the cities that are displayed do not allow you to enter
correct cities because they are omitted from choices??
