Have the same problem. Have you fixed your cab. problem yet? Thanks per
Okay,
I put the top town the other day, and I was getting ready to go in the garage... top wouldn't go up. I pull the fuse, still good, check the parking brake sensor... still all good. Yet, the top sill will do nothing, no noise (just dead). Right b/4 I go to sleep, I put the key to the 2nd position and the top starts to go up, gets 1/2 way and comes to a stop. Next morning, I put the key to 2nd position and it finishes closing.
I made some calls to many places, hear it could be a transmission, a motor, and/or a control unit. Any idea?
The top light on the dash is on, but the top is closed. Any way to check, it looks closed/seems closed and didn't fly off on the way to work at 80mph or so.

Does anyone know how to convert my us 99 model 996 rear bumper to Eurostyle bumper?
Need to remove the two black bumperettes in order to fit (make room for) a standard Euro licenceplate.
What can I do with the square houles in the bumper and bumperettes brackets? Are they removeble?
Does anyone have suggestions? The yellow 911 is mine US imported 996.
Thanks, Per Gunnar
