Welcome. The horns are located on the right side of the vehicle under the front bumper cover. Replace them in a set as the factory units are of poor quality.

Hi guys,
new to the forum. Can anyone tell me the location of the horn(s) - I think there are two, a hi and a lo tone, on my 2005 987 Boxster S? One of the horns has failed and I'd like to replace it.

Hey Lithium130, I just used your tutorial to remove the bumper on my 987-1 to replace the horns. Brilliant - no problems at all. I used a pair of long nosed pliers to pull the top clips by the headlights rather than the string but otherwise followed it as you laid it out. Thanks for posting it.
