  1. One more thing... Is it ok to purchase after-market coils ? BERU I believe... And what brand of spark plugs do you suggest ? NGK, or DENSO maybe ? If I chose to do this at the Porsche dealer, it takes about one week just to order... I could have them changed (coils and plugs) in 24 hours - at an indy garage - but not OEM and I am supposed to leave for Austria. What do you think ? should I go for BERU coils and NGK Plugs ? PS: the coils don't need to be replaced (engine works perfect), it is just my desire to do so since the car was bought SH... just to be sure I won't encounter some troubles in my trip. PS2: My location is Europe/Romania - Bucharest
  2. Thank you :) Well, I am not a very "technical" person, so changing them myself, is out of the question :) Yes, I will probably buy/change them, at some other garage in the end. Any other suggestions on Cayenne Turbo ? things to look out for etc ?
  3. Hi guys, this would be my first topic here, as I just bought a 2005 Cayenne Turbo. I drove a BMW M6 up untill now, but I've switched to a bigger car, as I have a new born son :) The M6, will be replaced by a Porsche 911 Turbo or a GT2 next year. Anyway, I have a couple of questions, so here I go: 1. CEL just came on, but the car runs perfect. 2. What should be the signs of worn Coils and Plugs ? 3. Besides the usual service (oil, filters, transmission fluids, coolant, brake pads), what should I further check/change at the Porsche Dealer ? 4. Fuel consumption is about 30 liters / 100 km ? What's up with that ? that's the same as the M6... I am asking about the coils etc, because they are charging 1000 EUROS for the 8 coils and 300 EUROS for the plugs. Only the cost of the parts. So about 1500 EUR to change the coils and plugs. If it is not necessary, of course I won't change them yet, but how to tell when they are worn... ? Thank's
  4. Hi guys, I've just bought a Cayenne Turbo myself, and it doeas the exact same thing, I've inquired, and it seems to be normal :) On thursday I will drop it to the dealer for usual service operations, do you have any other sugestions, on what to change/check ? I will do: oil, filters, transmission fluids, coils, plugs, cleaning the throttle bodies, changing the coolant, brake pads.
