hi, i've always put in chevron gas and just the other day i was forced to put in arco (i was running low), so i only put 3 gallons in...hoping this is only a coincidence. i noticed the following day it hesitated starting and now today it won't start at all. anyone have any ideas? when i turn it over, the windows go madly up/down (not all the way, but like when you normally open/close door). are there any checks i can perform to rule anything out? thanks in advance

thanks. i found out that the 996 upgrade is ~20k+ but that the upgrade of a boxster s 996 conversion ~32k+. -

thanks. what if i do just the oil change at 30k and not the actual 30k service? is that not recommended? the difference in cost seems to be ~ 200ish vs 700.

the remote control goes into standby within 5 days to prevent discharging of car battery. if this happens, you unlock manually, leave door closed, and press button 1 (the main button) and it will be activated.

mine does not run as well in the beginning on a cold day as well. is that normal and why is that?

i am interested in the conversion as well but i heard going from plastic to glass requires a lot of effort. for those who have done this, are you doing it yourselves or through a dealer? i understand that the whole mechanism is different -

simonpbs - i see. is it a safe conversion? do you have any info on it? i'd like to get the glass rear window as well, but dealer says it's a very difficult switch. did the dealer install for you? -

hi, i hope someone can help me out. i've been hearing a weird rattle noise in the engine area so i made an appointment tomorrow to get it checked up. however, as i was driving back home today, the noise stopped and the battery warning light came on. steering became real difficult (luckily this happened as i was turning into my driveway). so in reading the manual it sounds like the drive belt is broken. is that correct? if so, is this a major problem? can i still drive it to the dealer tomorrow morning?
