  1. P0650 could be a couple of things:

    1. Open circuit, or implausible signal

    2. Exceeding mixture threshold (either over rich or over lean)

Suggest a PID scan of sensors to see what they are reading................

In both cases what needs to be fixed or changed?

  2. when i drive my car for sometime, i hear a loud whistling noise coming from the left fender where the gas cap is located. (the weather is hot and the A/C is on).

i have noticed this noise ever since the dealer changed my air condition system.

and when i touch the left fender i find it to be extremely hot!.

could anyone tell me what might be the reason and what is located under the left finder?

    thanks a lot

  3. could anyone tell me what might be wrong with my car, i took my car to the dealer three times and still i get the check engine light.

they have changed the mass air flow three times now!

i checked for the error code and this is what i get:-

    P0446

Porsche fault code 95 - Shutoff valve activated

    charcoal filter (function)

    P1128

Porsche fault code 360 - Oxygen sensing adaptation

    idle range bank 1

    P1130

Porsche fault code 361 - Oxygen sensing adaptation

    idle range bank 2

PS my car was with the dealer for more than a month and still they couldnt fix it.

  4. Sometimes when I drive my car the Traction Control light turns “ON” by it self (indicating “TC OFF”) and if I try to press the “TC ON” switch it wont get turned ON (i.e. it gets stuck at the “TC OFF mode”), this problem gets ok if I turn the ignition off then turn the it on again!

Does anyone know why this happens? Is it normal?

  5. i couldnt find how to clean the throttle body!!

please anyone could show me how to clean the throttle body and the idle control valve.

Sounds like the throttle body is "carboned up". It likely needs to be cleaned as well as the Idle Control Valve. Do a search here for cleaning tips.
  6. When I lock my car, the driver side door gets locked but the passenger side doesn’t!

I’ve taken it to the agent and now its more than two days they are searching for the fault but with no success!!!!

What on earth could be the problem!!

  7. my car wont start!

when i first started my car and changed the tiptronic gear from 'P' to 'R' it was a bit hard and i heard a little sound.

then i drove my car normally until i reached to the place i was heading for, i parked my car and i wanted to change the tiptronic gear from 'R' to 'P" but i couldn't!! i could change the gear to 'N", "D' but i couldn't change it to 'P" so i pushed it harder and it changed to "P" then i turned the ignitnon off.

once i returned to my car, the car refused to start as if your trying to start your car and the gear is not in "P"

now the tiptronic gear moves to all the positions but i feel it moves very smoothly as if no gear is changing

    and the car wont start.

does anyone know what seems to be the problem?
