  1. Thank you. Anybody here have the tool that you made and want to sell one? Or perhaps, is there a template w/ dimension to the tool? I checked my local auto parts store for spark plugs and they only have the NGK BKR6EK. On their website, it says to gap it to 0.032". Does it need to be gap? I have never use these type of spark plugs w/ two ground tips.
  2. Alright. I will check it out. If the cam covers were to leak, is there enough room to service it w/o dropping the engine? the cam keeper/holder, anyone else sell it besides pelicanparts and dealers?
  3. Thanks, Loren. I got issue w/ leak at the valve covers. Is it typical for these 01 boxster to have leak in this area?
  4. lol... 50miles. but yeah.... no more smoke. it's crazy the amount of smoke it makes after it starts up. Thinking back at when the AOS failed on the highway, the couple drivers behind me was prolly pretty pissed.
  5. Thanks, Loren. How has the "newer" o-ring changed? does it have a different material and/or thickness?
  6. When replacing the seals on the sparkplug tubes, why do ppl replace the tubes? Is the tube fragile when pulling it out? I want to replace sparkplugs and wanting to replace the seal if needed.
  7. I'm going to replace the sparkplugs on this car, which only have 41k on it. Made the 200K miles trip and getting ~22MPG.
  8. Gotten replaced. Took about 2 hrs wrestling the thing in and out. Ended up using a generic hose clamp. I didn't replace anything else, just the AOS. Dense cloud of smoke lasted about 5min. The remnant of oil went away after 50k miles or so. Were there any revision to the AOS device?
  9. can someone rehost the pictures ? photobucket isn't an ideal place for hosting pictures to be put on forums
  10. Air/Oil Separator replacement: What else need to be done? I am ordering the AOS from pelicanparts.com for $112 and wanting to replace it myself. I will check and clean the MAF sensor but what other things do ppl replace or clean? Thanks,
