  1. All

Im refitting the Bose subwoofer into my 2001 GT2 and the power cable is proving difficult to locate.

I have removed the carpet above the ECU plates, removed the ECU plates themselves, can see clearly where the cable should be coming through the indent in the metal plate on the LHS of the car, but cannot locate the cable itself.

So, does the cable run front to back through the centre of the car, in which case it should be under the rear carpet.

Or does it run down the left hand side of the car through the wing?

My car is right hand drive, but that shouldnt affect anything?

    Thanks

I dont think there is a Bose subwoofer in an original GT2. The GT2 was designed to save weight and they did not

come with rear seats, sunroof, spare tire, etc.. Im almost positive there wasn't even an option for the Bose system.

Unless the car is not a real GT2.

  2. Hi,

We have a 2003 996 Turbo and we need a new NAV. BE6632 PCM 2 RDW is installed so I'd ask if BE6634 PCM 2 USA would be used for replacement. Anyone knows what is difference (maybe US map instead of Europe)?

    Thanks in advance.

I own 2 cars, a 2003 996 and a 2003 996 turbo. Both cars have the BE6634 PCM 2 Navigation. Both have USA maps but I can always change the maps to any region or country by installing a new map set. It is posible that the BE6632 was an older model. Maybe your car was a late 2002 production.

  3. I also do not have the amp in my car.. I have a fiber optic loop back plug installed in the PCM2. It works without the amp. There is an internal amp which powers the speakers
