    turbo "s" E81 brakes

V6 has smaller claipers and rotors and calipers- 6 in the front/4 in the rear. 330 mm/ 32 mm rotors on the base Cayenne, 350 mm/34 mm on the new Cayenne S and 368 mm/36 mm on the new Cayenne Turbo. The OEM 18" Turbo wheels will clear the brakes just fine. Moreover, Porsche claims the Cayenne brakes were developed to meet the same rigid anti-fade standards as those on a 911.

Why are you looking at change calipers? If the padss are shot slap some Hawk Pads on them abd save the money. You also said in December thhat the lease was almost up-spend the extra $$$ on a new car!

All very good points bobby, but i decieded after spending all the time and money on parts for my peppper i am going to buy it.. :)

    Just purchased

    Exhaust 1200.00

    Speed Art Tips 1200.00

Calipers will be painted yellow 300.00 black porsche script

  2. Retract the steering column too the max.

Turn the steering wheel 90° too the left

Insert a flat screwdriver in too the hole on the back of the steering wheel till he hooked after a steel spring

Push the screwdriver in the direction of the steering column, while pulling on the airbag module

Turn the steering wheel 180° to the right and do the same handling in the other hole

Remove the airbag module and the connectors

Remove the center bolt in the steering wheel

    Remove the steering wheel

    I hope it's helps

PS make sure airbag doenst deploy in Face

    :P

just kidding but i would feel safer disconnecting the battery

  3. Hey Guys

Here is the steps to install the center console armrest

    ----

First Start By locating the two screws behind the supports of the armrest

    post-5701-1181946239_thumb.jpg

Once you locate them use a T20 or 25 to remove them (i pulled the armest closed a bit for easier access to remove the screws)

Once those are removed the middle section of the supports will pull forward (with some force becareful they are held in by plastic clips)

Then for the hard part this is a PITA !!!! You must remove the 2 metal cotter pins which i really have no advice for you other than BE PATIENT !!!!!

    post-5701-1181946197_thumb.jpg

Remove those pins with a pliars and flat blade screwdriver....then the top half of the armrest will come off

    To install reverse the process

    HOPE THIS HELPS EVERYONE !!!

  4. Hello, how do you take the headlights out to replace the bulb? I could not figure out the tricks to take out the headlight unit to replace the bulb. Please help. I would like to put in hid too. Thanks in advance

if you look under the hood next to the headlamps there is a cover that looks like a high beam icon this is where it is removed use the long skinny wrench (LOCATED IN HATCH BY SPARE TIRE) to remove turn SLOWLY counterclock wise to remove

  5. I have the Curt hitch on my S. It saves a small amount of money because you have to get the dealer to wire in the control module and set it up, fitting is not to hard.

    Hi mudman2,

I was looking at the Curt hitch site and found they mentioned that Cayenne requires fascia trimming

    to work with their hitch.

Just wondering how much trimming is needed.. Do you have a photo to share?

    Thanks in advance!

not much trimming its pretty simple using some masking tape and a steady hand with a jigsaw.

i tow my jetski with my V6 no Air suspension

  6. i would check and see if they are directional ,make sure they are pointing the correct way. Other than that id have a shop/dealer check the alignment. If you were only slightly off with the 20's the 22's would just exaggerate it. Other than that i would check the edges of the tires and make sure they are true

    will doo thanks

i checked the alignment the wheels stay straight to the road and no vibration in the wheel and rotational is correct

    maybe ill have it checked

    thanksss
