Just wondering if anyone can tell me how much my car is worth.I am thinking of selling my car and I am not sure how much to ask, it is a 2002 996tt ,silver I am the 4th owner the car is mint, black leather interior,pcm elec seats, bose pack.the car has done 32,000 miles,thanks in advance

Hi Jon I had the same problem had to take it to porsche dealer they took out the pcm and got the serial number of the side,they then phoned beker and they got the code from the serial number hope you get it sorted soon real pain in the a-se

With your car VIN, the PCM serial number and proof of ownership - any dealer should be able to lookup your code.
Yep, Loren is dead right, I had the same thing happen to me but my dealer helped me out no problem as well as re-setting the airbag light - didn't even try and charge for it.

had to to take it to porsche dealer who took the pcm out to get serial number and have now reset it charged me £48 thanks anyway

I have just had a new battery put on my 911 tt although they linked it up to another battery before removing the old one The pcm is now locked out and is asking me for the code I know i have this but has been put in one of those safe places any ideas how to bypass this or ways of getting the code i have phoned the dealer who only have the code to the radio help

sorry should have made it clear I meant English market local porsche dealers only want to make a killing on it.As for the 4 owners 2 owners got bored with porsche and part exed for ferrari dont know about second owner and I have had my name down for new bmw m5 for 18 months and has now become available the,car is perfect
