Sorry really confused on this.

FYI: Just bought a 1L bottle of 'Porsche' brand coolant and the parts guy says that Porsche now use ONE coolant for all models of cars and SUV's. They used to sell 'pink' color and there was a greenish and the *new* coolant is a pee colored yellowish. It can be mixed in with any of the older Porsche brands.
It's a yellowish color?
Confused because this says it's a red color???? http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/00004330105.html?Category_Code=996WaterCooling

Thanks everyone for the help, and awesome forum!!!

Ok sending right now, THANKS!!
I just checked the carfax again and it said carrera/carrera 4 so still have no clue. LOL
Also anyway you can tell me if it's drive by wire or non drive by wire. I think early 99 had non drive by wire but I am totally new to the 996.
Thanks!

Awesome thanks for the info guys.
I did a carfax and it says C4. I just looked at the pictures and it has black calipers.
The owner says it has traction control, is this available for both C2's and C4's?
No photos of under carriage will find out for sure I guess when I go look at it.

Yeah I seriously doubt he widened the rears.
This is a picture he sent me. To me it looks NB.

:welcome:
The C4S was not introduced/produced until model year 2002 - so your car is a C4.
That makes sense then. haha
The seller says it's the wide version...
Would all 1999 C4's have the same width rear quaters or are some wider than others?
Thanks for the welcome!

Looking at a 1999 and wondering how I can tell if it's a C4 or C4S. I did the VIN checker here and it didn't say.
Thanks!!

Wow I was watching the build of the other guys swap for awhile and was eager to see it finished, and BAM you beat him. :)
Great job!!! Would love to see more detailed photos. Any plans on coming out with a kit (wiring, mounts, bellhousing, and detailed instructions)??? I would buy a kit and I know lot's of other guys who would. I created Silviav8forums for guys who like to put LSx engines into 240sx's so this really appeals to me.
Anyways awesome job!
