My experience with Michelin is that they are great in the wet...until they aren't, meaning that when you finally lose traction its hard to get it back. I am still experimenting with this phenomena in conjunction with PASM.

I guess your sure it's not the ABS. I was surprised that mine engaged at such a low speed in reverse but all it takes is sufficient pressure to threaten to lock the wheels. ou describe two scenarios where that could occur.

I am a new member and may have the same problem (loss of tire pressure monitoring system in on-board computer list) May I send my Vin# to find out if I should have this option?

I hve a 2006 C4S and can't find the TPM. Are all cars equipped or can I assume that mine may not have it.
Sorry, TPMS was an option.
Check your options list for I482 Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
Shoot me over your VIN number, that way I could check if your car came with RDK
If it did and now it doesn't work, the problem lies with the Instrument cluster coding. This happens. The PIWIS tester is needed for recoding properly.

I have cracked the rt rear taillight lens on my 2006 911 Carrera S. Should I just "bite the bullet" and pay the dealership to replace or is there a reliable less expensive alternative (e.g. used part) I have friends who do professional collision but have not worked on Porsche.
