In most cases this is caused by a loose or broken upper strut mount.
How do you tighten the upper strut mount? If that's not the solution do you replace the mount or the whole damper?

Have and unusual issue with my 997.1S. The right front suspension makes a creaking noise only when it's driven on wet roads and over bumpy pavement. Has anyone experienced this before?

I would get both load tested and specific gravity tested. A low battery can cause all kinds of weird problems.
Thank for the quick reply Loren....I'll give that a shot.

How old is your battery?
Battery was replaced by the previous owner in 2008

Hi Everyone,
Has anyone experienced this before? I've just picked up a 05 Carrera 2S and went to a gas station to get my CT inspection. The inspector said my car's ODBII connector is getting a low voltage/battery errors. He said he tried 5 times and the computer won't connect to the ODBII port, then failed my inspection due this issue. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Eddie

I'm using Piaa H8 plasma ion bulb, so far no issues with them.
