  1. Where can I purchase a "CUP" emblem? Like the one on GT3 CUP. I'm looking for the actual emblem not decal.
  2. I did a '02+ facelift headlights on my '99 with litronic xenon factory (with working auto self leveling). Does anyone know how to connect the self auto leveling from '99 harness to '02+ headlights? I want the auto self leveling working on my new setup. Thanks !
  3. Like this guy on this link reused the OEM seat bracket and sliders on his GT3 bucket seats. http://gallery.rennlist.com/gallery/album651
  4. '99 factory/oem seats' mount bracket on the floor + sliders. Can they be re-used for Recaro SPG? I'm looking into purchasing a pair of Recaro SPG (used). Thanks in advance.
  5. When I turn on the A/C or just the fan (for about 1 minute) it smells bad like typical air conditioning odor. How do you get rid of that? Should I replace the cabin filter?
  6. Loren, no more blinking. That was definitely the issue. Thank you for pin pointing that out. I would have never figured it out.
  7. Found it! So I temporarily placed it by the a/c line away from the engine. As I found out that the rubber grommet that will hold it is missing. So I need to go to Porsche Walnut Creek to order the rubber grommet. Once I get it I will put the sensor back where it's suppose to be. I drove about 30 mins so far so good. No more blinking, but I'm waiting for tonight to drive this longer (30 miles) and see if it really doesn't blink anymore. Thanks again!
  8. Loren I took this pic just a minute ago. Here it shows that there's no harness locked into the C-clamp OR rubber grommet. Where item 12 is suppose to be which it isn't. My car is a 996.1 1999.
  9. Loren, I looked it up and there was nothing there but the "C" clamp that holds the harness. The harness itself isn't there.
  10. Thanks for all the input. Definitely will check soon today. I hope that's it and finally fix this issue.
  11. I will check tomorrow for that. Thanks that can help me narrow down this issue.
  12. My situation is.... - The coolant level sensor has been replaced - The gauge temperature is at 180-190 when driving. Normal driving temp range. - The gauge temperature blinks about every 2 sec. or 0.5Hz. - The coolant level is topped off - The coolant system is burped - The engine compartment blower fan works 100%. What else could I diagnose to narrow down and target the problem. I drive it like this but it's irritating. Very irritating.
  13. Okay we were able to replace the coolant level sensor. Put everything back and test drove it for 60 miles round trip. On our way to the destination (30 miles) my gauge temp did NOT blink at all. Then on our way back it started blinking. Before we test drove it, we burped the system. I don't know what else is wrong why it's blinking..... I replaced the coolant level sensor I burped the system Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  14. I've searched all around....found a couple of thread... 1) http://sharkwerks.com/porsche/technical-articles/184-is-your-996-coolant-leaking-could-be-your-coolant-expansion-tank.html 2) http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/996-turbo-gt2/216001-diy-replacing-coolant-expansion-tank-996tt.html But it doesn't really tell me step by step how to..... Does anyone have a link or any help?
  15. Not quite sure what I'm looking at. I know it's a wire diagram but I can not find away to connect. Please give more info/help. Thanks!
  16. Anyone got wire diagram for 02-05 Bi-xenon headlamps (to connect the auto-leveling)? To connect to 99-01 headlights harness. I need to connect the self auto-leveling. The picture shown below is my harness plug for my litronic xenon self leveling for my 99'.... I need to plug it to my 02' bixenon. Purple, blue, green pink wire is from my 99. The 02' pin connector for the self leveling is pin 7,8,9,10. I just don't know which color goes to which pin number. The second picture is the 02-05 bi xenon headlamps (harness plug) the 4 pins are open. I just can't figure it out. Help guys! Thanks!
  17. Hello Logray, this is the friend of the porsche owner, now I did test the solenoid and the harness, the harness is ok there is no short to ground, and I used a power probe to activate the solenoid to get it to move, but it did not. I read this thread and I saw you mentioned that there are some special tools that are required, what are they and where were you able to obtain them?
