  1. Really? I've been hearing you'll need headlight harness. What if it's xenon will it matter?
  2. 02+ facelift. Possible with out buying the wire harness??? I'm trying to do the 02+ face lift. My question is is it possible to use the 99' headlights harness with just splice and connecting instead of buying the harness for 02+??? If so, any wire diagram?
  3. Another q's for you Dharn55. I want to keep my CDR210 radio and factory amp I just want to install my aftermarket amp to power up my aftermarket sub. I don't want to touch the factory speaker wires. So I would still need the harness that plugs in the back of CDR-210 with RCA jacks. What if I also want to run ipod? Will I need 4 RCA instead of 2? 2 RCA for the aftermarket amp 2 RCA for the ipod How will that work?
  4. I need help on this project. I have a CDR-210 I want to keep it just add aftermarket amp and sub. So I already have my amp, sub, amp kit wire. But some say I will need this (picture below)to connect to the back of the radio (blue harness) and the other end (RCA) connects to the amp. Can anyone tell me where to get this?
  5. Thanks. I was thinking I can get a black plate just like that and just put the 911 emblem on it.
  6. Where can you get these? I'm just wondering... I'm trying to convert all the "Carrera" emblems into "911". Thanks guys! This door sill/guard. Is there a "911" version instead of GT3 or Carrera? Rear shelf logo. Is there a "911" version instead of GT3, GT2, Turbo?
  7. So I do need that harness in order for me to install the amp? The stock radio doesn't have a RCA input jack? Like the aftermarket decks
  8. I definitely don't have the cd changer. But I will look into the amp. So if I do have the amp, all I have to do is unplug everything from stock and run it into the aftermarket amp also RCA to the back of the factory radio right? Thanks for the picture!
  9. I'm not sure if I have an OEM amp. I'm not good with electronics. If I do have the amp where would they be so I can check?
  10. You mean the RCA or red/white jacks right? from behind the head unit to the amp. Is there a link about removing radio? I need to see the back if it's possible.
  11. Does anyone have a step by step pictures? I'm still lost.... I got the idea of blocking the smaller pipe and removing the air box muffler which is inside the air box so it can give more air capacity. Also by blocking the small pipe it delivers all the air through the main elbow pipe through the MAF... Am I getting this?
  12. I'm not sure of the model of the radio. But it's a 99' 996 C2. It's a single CD player. It's says CDR-210 I'm not sure if that's the model number.
  13. I want to retain the factory radio and just plug my iphone to play music. I'm not good with electronics so I know some of you is running iphone for music. Is there a ipod interface to connect to the factory radio? Thanks guys!
  14. Car wouldn't start for a while...after a few cranks then it did. HELP??? I was at a shopping store parking lot. When I was ready to leave, started the car. It wouldn't crank all the way. Half way I'd say.... I kept trying and trying...after about 10 cranks and then once it's ON position i tap the gas pedal a bit...then crank it...it started.. What could be the issue..? Please help Thanks!
  15. So it's not the 02 sensor pre or post? I do have cat deletes. had it for 1 month then i just now got the code.
  16. I have a Fabspeed X pipes with 02 simulators or spacers. I just got a P0420. I'm curious because the 02 spacers should trick the cats. Anyone have any idea?
  17. I'm going to install a new MAF sensor. I'm curious if I should disconnect the battery or just install it with out disconnecting the battery?
  18. Can you explain more of DME I have no knowledge on that. I'm aware that it will throw codes about the cat bypass. I'm ok with the CEL on (if it's about the cat bypass). But I'm just curious what the bogging is and I need to fix/replace my MAF.
  19. These are the codes I got. P1128 P1130 P0430 P1121 These are the codes the just appears. The O2 sensors I know because I'm running a cat bypass. I still have to put the O2 simulator / spacer to trick the O2. And MAF is bad. I need to replace it. The CEL light blinks for 10 seconds and then it becomes solid. Is it safe? When I drive the car it bogs at 1k to 2k... at when cold. When it's warmed up it doesn't bog anymore. What could it be?
