Yes, the o-ring is installed properly. If you look at the photo you posted, the canister flange (next to the "W" in the newspaper) does not sit flat against the engine block. Is this correct? Thanks.

Just changed my oil for the first time. Didn't take note when I removed the oli canister, but when I put it back on there is about a 1/8 to 1/4 spacce between it and the engine block. In other words, it does not sit flush against the engine block. Is this right? Torqued to specs and no leaks, just looks funny. Thanks.

This is the first I've heard of anyone having a problem with calibration or with the faces falling off. Anyone else have this happen?

Where can I buy colored face plates for my gauges. Also, my car is arctic silver with black interior. Any opinions on whether I should install the white or silver?

Loren - Sorry, but I'm easily confused!! The complete kit is the same price as the bumper alone -- $1745.52?

I don't have the side skirts installed currently, so I need both sides. I'm guessing its what you referred to as the upgrade kit. Can you also tell me what the "lower front bumper spoiler" is and if it is included in your MSRP? Thanks.

Loren - The front fender part number is 99650598006. I don't have the side skirt #.

I need to buy a front bumper and side skirts (OEM) for a 2003 Cab. I shopped around and 5 different dealers have given me 5 different MSRPs. Does Porsche publish an MSRP for their parts or is it something that is set by each individual dealer? When the price varies by more than $1000 (bumper), I begin to question what I'm getting...

Like Corey, my own personal favorite is not on your list -- Paul Miller in Parsippany. I have had good experiences at Princeton Porsche and would return. I would not recommend Ray Catena.

Only 2 hours to install?? You guys are starting to make me think that I can/should install the bumper myself. I have plenty of automotive mechanical experience, but have never attempted any body work. Always the fear of the unknown I guess.

PRH & Don - Are both your fenders OEM? Are there any parts to buy for installation other then the bumper cover itself? Was the bumper painted after or before it was installed?

Don - Loren mentioned that you posted photos/instruction on how your install. Couldn't find it. Would you know where it resides? Also, did you do the work yourself? How long would you estimate it took?

One last thing (for now :huh: ), I still don't understand why the C4S bumper, being from a widebody, won't be wider than my narrow body fenders???

Thank you both for your replies. Awesome car PRH!! Looks great! Unfortunately, I am having a little difficulty with the body shop. They don't want to do anything that is not a near direct replacement (little to no modification) to the stock bumper. Would the GT3 be a direct fit?

I have a 2003 C2 cab, narrow body. Two days ago I ran over a tire retread on a NJ highway which damaged my front bumper and it needs to be replaced. Will the front bumper from a C4S fit? Thanks.
