I came from a 1999 996 and have 2 NIB oil filters and I am curious if they will work on my 2006 CS? Shot in the dark but seeing as both were 3.4L i thought I would ask.

FYI - Neither of those cars pictured above are 99' models.

Eric - I change mine every 30k miles. It's inexpensive and it's a noticeable difference in feel once it's changed.

I've been using this site for years.

It's time to change tires. Anyone know any reason why putting 280/30 tires on my porsche 18" rims is a bad idea? The newer 996s came with these tires on the same rim. The car currently has the 225 and 265/35r18s on.
Are there any issues with suspension or other adjustments when I put on these tires. Any warranty issues etc?
you can go with 285/30-18 on a 10" wide rear wheel. I don't see the need for anything bigger with a C2.

Thanks!!! :notworthy:

Anyone have instructions on replacing the fuel filter and where it's located? I can't find anything on Renntech DIY.

'99 C2... the Renntech DIY article doesn't list what the gap is. TIA.

Are the GHL or PSE people having any of the resonances?
I have the GHL's and LOVE them. Zero issues... no resonance at any RPM at any time. I would highly recommend them.

http://www.autohausaz.com . I've bought spark plugs, air filter, pollen filter,02 sensors, MAF sensor, lug nuts, and more. And they're by far the best prices i've seen on-line.
WOW... best prices BY FAR. I saved $43 over Thepartsbin.com!

996 107 22552 (DR 1125) I bought these from Autohaus Arizona so I'm not sure if this is their P/N or if it's the OEM P/N.
It's a Mahle 0X128/1D
After looking online - Pelican Parts says it's th same P/N
