  1. I talked to a dealer and you can order a GT-3 with a factory installed roll bar cage.

Paul - that surprises me. I expect that the roll cage is designed to be flush with the ceiling on a non-sunroof car. Since all the US GT3's will have a sunroof, I expect that the ceiling will be too low to fit the cage...

  2. Carl - Yes, that's the car. Builder drove from his home in Montreal to Tampa and then to Denver to deliver it to me. It was also the car at Hershey, PA last year (only two trips the car's ever taken).

  3. Well, I just bought a sweet new track car (street legal) to replaced my burned 951S. It weighs 1,890 lbs based on a 73T with a 73RS motor (2.7L magnesium with MFI, racing headers, 9.5:1 CR and 240hp with 8,000 rpm redline). All racing Bilstein coilovers (no torsion bars) Charlie sway bars, etc. Engine and tranny are visible from inside car (through lexan window). Only glass is windshield (rest is Lexan). Here are a few photos:

  4. Interestingly, a British magazine traded off the new Pilot Sport 2's that came on the car for the Rossos because the Pilots were too squirrely at the limit on the track. I was surprised that the Michelins weren't superior...

  5. That looks like a fun car. Definitely a classic, but not original - looks like a 73 from the black horn grills with "S" front spoiler and "RS" rear spoiler. Also has US headlights and there are no US RS models (and obviously the wheels are late-model). However, that's a car that weighs less than 2,500 and he's hitting the track, so more power to him! :clapping:
