I received my new transmission, someone have the bentley manual, just the chapter on transmission in PDF ?
Work shop manual is not explicit for uncoupling..

I have not seen a good tutorial on tiptronic removal, but I'm sure there is one somewhere.
Here is one for the manual:
Again, from my understanding if you have a Z.F. model transmission it can be removed separate from the engine with just a few more steps.
If yours is a Mercedes trans, then as far as I know, both the engine and transmission have to come out.
For filling the transmission it is important that the correct procedures are followed:

Ok , i try to change it without removing the engine and secure the converter, i don't have a lift or ramp, so a tutorial will be appreciate :), for drain away it's the same process?

ok Loren i understand ..after check my engine serial number M96/0166X15983 , X is the model year since 1999.

i have remove and install my new transmission this week , the most difficult is to unscrews the seven transmission bolts...
