  1. I am having the same issue with respect to the light.... with additional issues. I have a 97 Boxster and the rear spoiler does not open or retract while driving. When I first get in the car and start it up.... the spoiler light is on. After I start moving, the light goes out right away. When driving, the spoiler does not open and retract... at any speed... even while doing 85mph. BUT, the manual button works and the spoiler opens and retracts. When open, the light does not come on. So, I looked at the spoiler more in depth and saw that someone (probably while in a parking lot at the mall) tapped the rear bumper and pushed the bumper in ever so slightly... just enought to cause a metal plate to scrape up against the apoiler. This does not keep the spoiler from moving up or down while using the manual button. So, that's my issue and any help would be greatly appreciated.
