Hi,
I checked the DIY as well as a search and did not come up with anything. I have a 2004 GT3 and I just purchased a 997 GT3 shifter assembly that I would like to install. I think it is pretty easy but wanted to see if anyone had the actual directions for install? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Would 996 seats fit in a 964? I have a set for sale and was asked the question and I do not know the answer. Anyone know? I understand the wiring would be different. Thanks for any assistance.

Guys,
Some further info. My car originally had the partial power sport seats with the manual sliders. The seats I purchased are full power. I am trying to figure out if Porsche installed different harnesses in the car depending on seat option. I may just be missing some intermediate harness. The new drivers seat has a control box where the passenger seat does not.
Loren, Help!
Every Porsche has a custom wiring harness for the option the car had at delivery.
If you change the type of seats you will need to make modification to add the wiring. It an be done but it is a pain to run the new wiring.
Loren, Thank you. That is what I figured/was afraid of. I think I will try to find the right set of seats rather than mess with new wiring. Thanks again.

Hello,
I have a MY 2000 C2 Carrera that I am getting ready to sell. I have had racing seats that I removed after four years. When I bought the car I removed the stock seats and sold them. I have recently purchased a set of stock seats that I planned on installing. My question is how many different sets of stock seat varieties are there? It seems the wiring on the passenger side will match up but on the drivers side it does not seem to match at all. Are there seats that are not compatible? There are no heaters, they are just stock power seats. Thanks for any assistance.

I am sure this is very simple, sorry to bother with it but how do the clothes hangers come out in a MY00 Coupe? Thanks.

Thanks for the help guys. Those instructions are perfect. The important part to me was marking the cables. Everything else was smooth. I appreciate the help.
