  1. Apologies for the needy first mail. I have 2005 997 3.6 I managed to completely ruin the passenger seat. No problem I thought, straight on to eBay, buy a couple of new seats, 4 bolts plug them in, i'm golden. Only I am not. The passenger seat works fine, the driver seat however doesn't. Not a peep - as in totally stone dead. I swapped the fuses, and plugged in the old drivers seat. All seem fine. A cursory glance at the pins in the plug/socket (comparing the old to the new) is they are indeed different. (The brown and red cables shifted) Now, the new seats have all sorts of electrical add-on's my old one didn't. Memory, fully electric, heated seats. (I appreciate the heated bit won't ever work and it doesn't bother me.) Is there a wiring layout? Or an adapter? Or should i just lie in front of the car and hope someone puts me out of my misery? :) Any help will be gratefully received. Will.
