Here's a quick way to adjust the base level of the bi-xenons : avg the front and rear ground to wheel arch height . Mark with tape a line 0.5 " lower on garage door or wall . Back up car 25 ft and adjust horiz cut off there , assuming level surface . It's done !

( The center of the bulb is 1.5 " above the wheel arch . Manual specifies aim line 2 inches below center of bulb .)

You can use 6 " - minimum lenghth screwdriver with a blade minimally 5 mm wide if you don't have that long an allen wrench.

On my 2002 Turbo manual , the directions are printed WRONG . When I rotate the vertical adjuster CLOCKWISE , the lights move UP , not DOWN !

Loren, your directions show the drain plug on the crankcase ( and oil tank ) to be retorqued to 44 ft -lbs. I've seen another DIY post that says the crankcase drain plug should be re-torqued to 52 ft-lbs. Can you check to see which is correct ? TIA.

Hmm... interesting that their legal beagles chose to carefully phrase the engine heat problem only as " driving dynamic measurements " :rolleyes:

I'm wondering if this relates to the discovery that on '02 Turbos , when the optional aerokit became available, they later discovered excessive engine compartment temps due to the wing design and had to add a diffuser on the lid under the wing to divert air into the engine bay. That would explain why it's MY '02 only .

I noticed that 2002 Turbos ( but not '01s or '03s ) have a March 2003 issued TSB #6A/01 addressing possible engine overheating problem - any details on this ? TIA.

Are the " hard points" there under panels to attach them ?

Thanks Loren ! Is the oil tank on the left or right side ? Also, the turbos are supposed to be drained of old oil also - does the manual show how it's done ?

I'd love to see a print out of the factory TT oil change procedure like the na version , as the few printed word versions I've read still leave me a bit confused as to location of certain drain plugs and pans .
