I think I am experiencing the same thing. I first wondered if it was the differential or something, I don't know. But I suspect it has something to do with the wheels touching the fenders or inner fenders, because I cannot remember hearing that noise when I had my winter wheels on this winter. Do you use spacers?

Thanks for the tip! How do we access the Bendix drive? From underneath? Do you know what has to be removed to get this out?
