  1. I have spent a week searching on the WWW for clues how to wire my newly obtained 2004 996 TT seats. The latter has the dreaded memory fucntion and is full power and no heat. My car is a 1996 C4S which has full power and no-heat seats. The passenger side is no problem. But the driver side is problematic as the memory ECU is inhibiting the installation of the 996 TT seat. I followed all the above suggestions to no avail. Each of the seat motors (three of them) work fine if directly powered from my bench battery. I can even get the lumbar function to work (if directly powered. BTW, where the the lumbar pump ? I have read that if I were to obtain non-memory 996 seat switches that I could just bypass the seat ECU altogether and wire the non-memory switches to the seat motors. However, who would order a full power 996 seat system minus the memory option ? Thanks, Patrick
