  1. a lot of companies make shift lights for cars. you have to purchase one according to the correct amount of cylinders in your engine. i.e. they sell one for the 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder, and 8 cylinder cars. Autometer makes a nice shift light. You can buy the really small ones which are bright but not too noticeably when not on. they also come with covers to cover the lights so you're not always blinded when driving. some of them come with different plugs that allow you to change the time the light comes on etc... others have a knob at the rear.

To install, you remove your gauge cluster and find the ignition coil wire. or you can get to it from the distributor cap or from the ecu area if you know the correct wire. i'm sure someone on here can point you to that wire. then you just splice into it. if you know where the wire is and you are pretty handy with cars I would say it's about a 30 minute to 1hour job.

    have fun and post pics~

Hi, put on my spoiler finally after having it sit in my place for over 2 months now. I'm going to keep it on for a while and see how I like it and then maybe change over to the Gemballa wing. I like it as of now and it actually works really well. Good downforce at really high speeds on sharp turns... on the track of course :P

DIY takes about 15 minutes to install the spoiler. N JOY~

  3. First off, I don't know if these are x54 because I bought them used and they don't say porsche on them. Next, I noticed they were bent in the rear. I'm assuming this is how they come right? I haven't taken off my old ones yet but I'm hoping they are the same. Either way, if this is indeed how they are supposed to be, it's like putting a bottleneck on your exhaust system because the bend restricts the airflow (changes the flow pattern) so much it's sick. If indeed the tips are not supposed to be like this then I need to hurry and contact the seller so I can return them. Anybody know if this is what they're supposed to look like? Or did I end up buying a piece of ... imitation that's all banged up?

    THANKS!

  4. Hi Loren~ thanks again for all your help in getting these parts on my car. For everyone out there, Loren is da shiznats~ :) sorry for the ghetto lingo. here are some pics of my car after your great installation instructions. FYI I got it painted and installed by Vertex Motorsports www.vertexmotorsports.com in McLean, VA right next door to Intersport and they did a GREAT GREAT job~

I recently purchased the pcm unit and want to use it for only stereo functions (not navigation and not a/c controls). As such I want to move my a/c controls to the lower din unit (the unit that currently serves as a storage din and not the unit that holds the cassettes.) I need to know the parts that I should order so I can fit in the pcm unit into the upper portion as well as the parts needed to move the heater control into the storage din area.

THANKS~~~ you are deeply appreciated as usual~
