That's a great list that I would only add a couple of items to. 1) Fill you gas tank as full as possible. This will stop condensation from developing in the tank.
Jim
Jim's right about the gas, but add Stabil also.

The 'Boxster' logo the rear trunk need replacing, a replacement has been received, what is a good way to remove the old one and the related adesive?
TIA,
Dental floss works to remove the logo. Just work it back/forth with some pressure. P21S will take the remaining adhesive. At least if it has not baked too long in the sun before removing the logo.

I think I found the phone connector under the storage shelf of my 04 986S while looking for a radar detector power connection. It has hot, ground, mute, and (I think) keyed hot.
I read http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...c=6046&hl=cdr23. And http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=5190 which is for a CDR-220.
Becker lists "Telephone power cable, 5001.524-276 and CDR-23 Phone input cable is BNA-116.276 ($17.00)."
Haven't heard back from Becker on whether you need both. Local Becker dealer clueless.
The 5190 post also specifies Audio/telephone cable kit - p/n 1319.116-276 - $16.00. Is this for analog/non-MOST applications?
If anyone can clear my cobwebs on hooking up handsfree cell phone that will put audio over speakers I would very much appreciate it...........Thanks,,,,,,,,mike :help:

My 04 S has only been cold (< 30) once - left out at night at dealer's. Check engine light even came on. Then went out when warmed up a bit. Dealer said it was common, and that "Porsche was working on it."

I recommend Suncoast. http://www.suncoastporsche.com/

I just installed smartTop 986 in My 04 Box S. Easy install. Works great. Cannot believe how much it means to not have to set the handbrake.
Store cars in the attic?

Yup, ya mighta got up too early. I guess you already ruled out expanding your garage or building a new one for some really good reason? <_<
Good luck with the garage!
