  1. Something is weird, I came down to the garage last night and the engine compartment lid light is on. The bulb was hot and burnt my finger to the touch. It was on for several hours. I did not open the hood/boot since the afternoon. I can't find a switch to turn the bulb off, so I had to remove it. mad.gif

    How does the engine compartment light goes off, when the hood is closed? There's got to be a pressure activated switch somewhere. I looked for an electrical diagram and searched the thread. Does anyone know? Any help would be appreciated.confused.gif

  2. Rocker Panel Removal, Paint and Re-install


    I always wondered why the black or charcoal gray 996 turbos look better proportioned and meaner looking. The reason I figured out is that the black rocker panel gives the 996 a better balanced look. If you have a lighter color car or a yellow one like mine, the car appears somewhat squishy and long. After painting the rocker panels to match, the car looks better balanced. At first, I was a little apprehensive about removing the rocker panel, but decided I couldn't live with it the way it was
