  1. Just finished changing out the water pump on '04 CTT. Started her up and I got a fluctuating idle, up to 1500 down to 500 then rev's back up to 1200-1500. Took a little test drive to see if it would reset, but no luck. Ran well while accelerating, but cuts out when you take your foot off the gas and fluctuates when sitting a light. Then to make matters worse the PSM failure indicator flicks on, what the heck do those two have in common? Checked all the numerous hoses, pipes and electrical connections again. All looks well. Am headin' to the autoparts store for some MAF cleaner and Throttle body cleaner. I am out of idea's if that doesn't work. Any suggestions? Also changed coils all coils and plugs10k ago.

    OBD codes would help!

  2.

Isn't it nice when fault codes nail the problem and you fix it in 5 minutes or so?

I recently had the same thing with a crankshaft position sensor fault code.

Yeah ! can't even imagine not having a durametric and having to take it to the dealer, would have cost me ....

It's amazing how 1 coil makes a difference in the drive, I am going to do them all I think with spark plugs.

Or mayb first check the others to see if there are already newer ones.

  3. Hi, Just received the durametric cable and downloaded software ver 6. Ran the "test all modules" and received the following error.

353: Feedback from blower regulator front - Upper limit value exceeded, test conditions are not-completed, fault is not currently active and is not causing a DTC light

Any ideas?? Everything seems to be working OK, but is something looming on the horizon that needs to be addressee now?

    It's an 04 cayenne S with an 4.5/V8

    Thank You for your feedback.

Under what test chapter? sure it's 353, P0353 is Bar Ignition module, cilinder 3 (bank1)

  4. After reading alot here & on other forums I decided to go for it.

I was thinking about a Grand Cherokee SRT8 or the TT.

Found a CTT, 04 model year with 135000 km, the coolant pipes where done 500 km's ago, together with an engine & gearbox maintenance.

It's black with black leather, and I love it

Ordered the secondary cat bypass tubes, 17mm wheel spacers & 2 sport airfilters today.

Second I am thinking about powder coating the wheels mat black and have the alu look 3M mat black covered
