Same issue with a 2008 Boxster with CDR24 + Bose sound. It seems like all the bass is coming from the front speakers only, nothing from the large openings between the seats that I assume are connected to the subwoofer. It they aren't, what is their purpose? . Just curious.
Manual for CDR 24 Bose sound upgrade system
in 987-1 Series (Boxster, Boxster S)

I just purchased a 2008 Boxster with the Bose sound upgrade for the CDR 24 radio, but no manual came with car. I am specifically interested in how to adjust the output level for the Bose subwoofer - can't seem to get a decent bass response with radio Bass level controls. Also, can't seem to locate the subwoofer speaker. Any ideas?
