  1. If you are getting the same fault code then the problem is (still) in the bank1 sensor 1 circuit. The DME is sensing that the circuit is open (disconnected) - so they should be going after that sensor wiring, connector and sensor itself.

Rarely does a fault code not point to the exact cause of a problem -- they need to follow the fault code troubleshooting.

The dealer said they have solved the o2 sensor issue , after few days cel on again but now still the same p0171 system too lean bank 1 without the o2 fault . Checked with an independent workshop o2 sensor working fine .

  2. Hi everyone,

Brake proportioning Warning, ABS light on, Parking Brake Light Flashing. the car is able to drive , i use piwis to check for code but could not search for any module (display : control module not found ). Try with a

different car, the tester working fine .

what could probably cause this problem???

    Need help please !!

    Thank

  3. The dealer have smoke test the engine but seem to be no leak .

i ask a friend of my that used piwis to read the actual value and found out that bank 1 sensor 1 reading is 2v at idle but no response when accelerate only bank 2 value jumping up and down , he said normally both bank should be almost the

    same.

the dealer just replaced all the o2 sensor .

could it be the wiring from the DME module or something else .

the fault is p2237 o2 sensor positive current control circuit open bank 1 sensor 1 . after clearing of the fault and let it idle for few minutes the fault appear again and the o2 value is 3v.

Loren do you know which wire to check ??? i know there are 5-6 wire .

    please help .

    Thank for the reply

    really appreciate.

  5. Hey Everyone..

    i have a 997tt /tip stock .

battery going dead problem , so i replaced with a new batt and check for charging load off 12.8v load on 12.4v on idle (try this in hot and cold condition , increase engine speed does make any different)

Replace with a new alternator still the same problem but slightly increase 13.10v load off and 12.6-8v load on . sometime when switch off the engine and start again it will read 13.6v off 13.10 on

but today it still below 13v .

i try replacing with another new alternator but the result is still the same ,i also try to check for any loose connection or corrosion .(back of the alternator , starter , below the gearbox and battery)

i try compare with few of my fren 997tt all their reading above 13v+ with all acc on.

i done some searching on this issue , most of them is cost by the alternator to batt cable .

Have anyone got this problem solve before , if replace cable do i need to remove the engine or can be done without removing ??

    Thank you in advance.

    Drew

  6. Hi everyone,

i noticed a very strange sound from the ac unit , when turn on i heard a hissing noise from the middle of the dashboard , when off the noise just goes off . i checked the ac system and found out there was no leak the gauge reading is just nice , i try to decrease/increase the amount of refrigerant but the result still the same .

Could it be the expansion valve making the noise ?????

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank
