Push the rocker switch, the clam shell opens, side flaps go down with a slight "grind noise" on the passenger side one, and the roof doesn't do a thing. I can reverse the process with the rocker switch so the clam shell goes back into original position and side flaps go back to horizontal (same grind noise) but thats it. No roof movement at all. I checked the E3 fuse and its not the problem. Anybody want to help me with this??? Thanks, Bob

Hey, thanks for getting back. This is the first time I've had a problem. A forum member at 6speedonline suggested greasing the roof pump motor spindle on each side so the microprocessor could make necessary contact contact once the shell opens. Another member sent photos of a "reset button" inside the guts of the roof mechanism. I'll try both and see what happens. At least I was able to finally close the roof manually using the allen wrench and key method outlined in the owners manual. If this doesn't work I'll' try the DIY hydraulic fluid refill procedure and if that doesn't help it's off to the Porsche service department.
Thanks, Bob
