I want to replace the factory radio in my 97 Boxster, which came with the factory 4-channel amp. My question is, where can I find a wiring harness to adapt an aftermarket radio in with the factory amp/speakers? Does anyone have a wiring diagram of the 97 radio? Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure about aftermarket horns but I replaced my 986S horn part 996 637 117 03 from Pelican Parts, was only around $12 (east pacific pesos!).
I also had a stray current at the horn connector, I don't have the circuit diagrams handy, but I remember there is a monitoring circuit flowing.
Thanks for your help mattatk! I found the replacement part on Pelican parts, hopefully this will fix my problem.

Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the alarm horn (located beside the battery) with an aftermarket alarm siren. I have a spare aftermarket alarm siren and would to use it in place of the factory horn, which seems to be defective anyhow. I have a 97 Boxster and have performed many of the "open circuit" tests that I have read about on here and get no sound out of the factory unit at all. The only thing that worries me is the "floating" 9.1 current that the connector reads at the horn plug. Any advice would be appreciated.

Are you still making/selling these enclosures? I am interested if you are!
