Just got the 1998 boxster out of winter storage... I have the CR-210 with serial W5010428
Thank you so much in advance!
Windows will not operate. Not a window motor failure

After a rain storm the other day I next time driving I could not get the drivers side window to roll down with the button.... Oh crap it was getting hot inside and I remembered the window would roll down a few inches if I undid the latch for the top. Wallah! the window rolled down a few inches! The button would still not operate the window.
I swapped the wire harness with the passenger window still no change in behavior.
If I listen closely I can hear a very small click coming from the door that sounds like a small relay. It will click once per press (maintained OR momentary press) on the window switch. After 2-5 clicks it will not click anymore....
Any idea what might be the problem?
Many thanks!
Derek
