  1. My 04 CTT just recently shipped home from Europe. I picked it up yesterday. The battery was dead, and had to be jumped. I drove from Atlanta to Nashville. The turn signals are not working, and windshield wipers and bright lights, and fender well lights all not working. The sunroof was very intermittent in its operations also. Could it be a blown relay? Fuses are fine.

Where and what number relay would I have to change?

    Thanks, Jon

  2. Finally!! CEL came on, and immediately diagnosed with OBDII. Code reads as follows: P0300 Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected. P0302 Cylinder 2 misfire detected. I finally started car today, and CEL immediately came on. Shut it down, and instantly diagnosed with OBDII. So, based on the codes, should I replace Cylinder 2 Coil? I will also replace plugs while I am at it. Any further guidance from renntech members would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Jon

  3. I had the same problem, and it was driving me crazy!!!!!!! I know this sounds stupid, however, I adjusted the latch rod mechanism out just one turn. (You may not have to do this). While the rear hatch was open, I lightly sprayed the latching mechanism with some WD 40. I know how dumb it sounds, however, the hatch has not come ajar yet, Knock on Wood!! I have a new micro switch that I purchased from local dealer. If it comes open again, I will change it out with new rear glass hatch micro-switch. Try it, see if it works for you. If not, I would go for new micro-switch. Hope this helps... Worked for me. Funny..

  4. Hello,

Cayenne started sputtering this morning. I have a feeling that it is the coils. It is acting like it cannot get enough power, and the engine is rough idling. This is the 2nd time that I would have to replace a coil. I do not have a durametric, and I am worried about driving it the 40 plus miles to my nearest Porsche Dealership. (1) Is there anyone here that has a DIY guide to changing these things out? (2) How can I tell which coil is bad? (3) What are the coil part numbers so I can order them? Any help would be appreciated. Fuel pumps were changed out about 1000 miles ago. I will try changing coils, and diagnose further after that. Car starts fine, Drives, however I have a huge lack of power.

    Thanks,

    Jon

  5. I too am experiencing the same problem. I have a faulty suspension warning lamp going off every once in awhile. All I simply do is wait till I'm done driving, and turn ignition off, then when I restart car, fault is gone. I have noticed here recently that the passenger side of my Cayenne Turbo is lower than the driver side. It is approximately 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch lower than driver side. What can I do to fix this?

  6. Hello,

I am having issues with my rear hatch. I have read a ton on this forum, and have tried all of the voodoo tactics that previous owners have posted, and I am still having problems. The rear hatch warning light comes on, every time I hit a bump, or pull up onto a curb to park. MADDENING!! The dash warning light comes on, and the interior lamps come on. Really annoying while driving at night. I have tried adjusting the rear window latch shaft. Not working. The latch itself engages properly. It seems to have 2 stage locking mechanism. Both stages engage properly when I push it to the fully closed position, and then I release it with the hatch release micro switch on rear outside glass. I have tried simply unplugging the hatch switch on the back side of the glass, but, no joy... I have a new micro switch, I will try replacing that. Is there anyone who has the same issue, and what have you done to fix it? I will take it to the dealer, however, It is out of warranty, and do not want to spend a ton of money for labor when I can do it myself. Please, If you have had this problem and it is now fixed, tell me what you did.

    Thanks,

    Jon

  7. Hi,

I'm looking for a replacement driver side mirror motor, and switch. Can anyone tell me what the part numbers are for both? The mirror itself moves in all directions, it is fine. However, the motor does not fold the mirror inwards. I don't know if it is the switch or the motor, but, I want to replace both items, and need the part numbers. Will this part # work for me (9557312290401c)?

    Thanks,

    Jon

  8. Hello,

Any help with this topic would be greatly appreciated. I turned the Mirror Control Knob on my 04 Cayenne TT to adjust both mirrors inward prior to parking. The passenger side mirror folded in properly. The driver side mirror moved roughly half way in, and then stopped. No matter how many times I turn the knob, the mirror stays in one place. (Stuck)! I can swivel the mirror in and out manually, however, the mirror is loose, and, does not appear to stop in the fully adjusted proper usage position. Is there a quick fix that I can possibly do to remedy this situation? Can I remove the bottom cover, and turn the mirror manually? Thanks in advance for any help!

    Jon
