This is an old topic thought I would share my experience ..
Drivers rear tire had what looked like a finish nail in one of the threads..
I work @ a Lexus dealership so one of the ace technicians plugged it and and told me it was all set..
The next morning the tire was flat...
I called a local very reputable tire shop near my house, they removed the tire and immediately patched the tire checked and double checked for leaks or seepage, the tech also beaded the rim , he balanced the tire and I was off...

60K Maintenace Plus Plus Plus

So I set up the 60K last Friday 8-3-2012 I thought while it was there I would do some up keep on this awesome car. My car has 58223 on the clock . Here's what I had done. I picked it up on 8-7-2012
1. All filters, plugs, belt, Mobil-1 0W40
2. LN engineering bearing , RMS, crankshaft seal.
3. Expansion tank , coolant flush
4. Brake flush
5. Re-sealed front windshield and rear winshield....car had rattles there gone now.
6. Replaced 14 lug bolts ...they were rusty...
The bearing that came out was a dual row bearing that was in good shape. At least I have 1 less thing to worry about.
For what its worth my tech tells me its the cleanest 2000 he has seen.
I also just polished my exhaust tips...they where looking pretty gross.
I added some pics hopefully it works..
