Not a book per se.. but as a Contributing Member here you can use the Retail Price Search feature here (on the Online Docs Menu) to look look up current MSRP for any part number.hello,
first off, thanks for the link to the pdf's. but, i do have a question...
this might seem like a stupid one...(because the answer is most likely in front of me).. is there a pdf, list or printed book that has the list prices of the parts listed for the parts in either the pet catalogs or the tequipment catalogs? i'm kinda tired getting pricing that's all over the place from the various dealers/sources. i know sunset offer's cost + 15%, but i still would like to have a printed price sheet of list prices...
thank you in advance, and have a great new year...

2003 996 Coupe
Any recommendations for an excellent and friendly factory authorized repair shop in the Los Angeles area other than Beverly Hills Porsche?
you might want to give speed gallery a call. i dont have their number in front of me, but they are in studio city, near ventura and vineland? something like that.

I live in the SF Bay Area and have experience(s) with Custom Alignment.
So, I'll let some of our LA users speak to Tire Rack installers in the LA area.
loren,

hello, and thank you for putting together such a great site. i do have a question though... i just bought a 2000 996 that's going to need tires soon... i was looking into the possibility of buying the tires from tire rack, if for nothing else their price/selection. so, the question is, could you suggest someone or shop in the L.A. area that could mount/balance them? thank you again for your time...

Steering Wheel R&R
in 9PA, 9PA1 (Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne Turbo S)

did mine (carbon fiber/leather, 3-spoke) on my 996, i agree dont start unless you've got all of the tools, and anything else you might think you'll need in front off you. otherwise, it might be hard to explain to the officer why your steering with a pair of pliers... :P
