Turn signal stalk replacement is actually relatively easy and there is a good how-to on Pelican. I added the computer control to my Boxster and that was a little more involved!

The cutout on my car was VERY noticeable. So I disabled it by following instructions on a DIY that I found, possibly on this site, that only required the bending over of a contact on a relay in the driver footwell. If you don't hear the cut out, then its probably already been done on your car.

Hopefully one of the experts can confirm these part numbers.

I attended the Bentley session at Porsche Tech Tactics this year and the amount of effort they put into making this book was incredible. I have my copy on my bookshelf in my garage (right next to my 986 one which I have used a ton) waiting for when I need it. They would not give any information on when or if they would be doing a 997 book.

I wanted to make anyone who is considering shipping their CDR-23 off to Becker as judgejon suggests aware that is is a MONO input and sounds awful for music. Do not waste your money, you will be sorely disappointed. I ended up coughing up the $400 for the Dension unit (from bumperplugs.com) and it was worth every penny. Just wish I had the money I thew away on the aux in from Becker back.
