Hi,
I just bought a new 997 GTS, which has everything on it except, bizarrely enough, Sports Chrono. Porsche can retrofit it very easily for £1000. It basically encompasses buying a new switch pack (buttons in the centre console), and reprogramming the car. I wouldn't get the clock (which I don't want anyway), or the steering wheel lights with 'Launch Control' etc. Seems extraordinarily expensive for a bit of plastic and half an hour of reprogramming. Anyone done this themselves or have any good ideas for getting this done at a more reasonable price?
Same again for Cruise Control. Costs around £500 at Porsche, but i understand it's straightforward to Mod it.
Thanks,
997GTS
