I complained to my dealer about this issue and the fact that you can't close the windows/sun roof with the key as I could do on my '02 996. They did some research and even called the factory to see if there was a set-up option that they could change. They said there is nothing that they can do change it as the factory considers it a "safety issue".

On a U.S. '06 997S with Sport Chrono and the factory PSE on does the PSE go into quite mode during certain road speeds? TIA.

I'm lucky if I average 13 mpg on my '06 C2S with a mix of local/highway driving. My '02 996 was averaging 18-20 mpg with the same type of mixed driving. I'm always in sport mode so I don't know if that makes any difference.
