Perhaps they touch any contact of the GPS aerial ¿? :eek: Where are the contacts? -
I had the door replaced on my 2000 911 and now the navigation isn't picking up the satellites anymore. Any ideas on what could be the problem? It definitely worked before, I used it to get to the body shop.

Error code P1341 help

Thanks for the reply. I hope it's something as simple as the sensor. Do you happen to know which sensor would cause this? I'm still waiting on my guy to get back to me. Anyone else ever get this error code? We had a foot of snow last weekend anyway so I don't mind keeping her off the road for now. -
Hello. I've got a 2000 911 and the check engine light has been going on and off for the last few weeks. It goes on for about 2 days, off for one, lather rinse repeat. I had it checked out at the dealership, they said that it was giving the P1341 error code and explained to me that it means one of the crankshaft actuators has gone bad and gave me a parts list and said it'd take 10-12 hours to fix. Instead of forking over the $1800 they said it'd cost, I took it to one of my guys and he had a look. He got the same error code, but said that the parts they said I need seemed fishy. He also said that the 10-12 hours seemed like they would need to pull the engine, but the service rep specifically asked the tech if that would need to be done and he said no. 996-105-051-58 Timing Ch 0 is the big part (~$650) and the rest are pretty much screws and rubber rings. My guy can't figure out why they would tell me I needed a timing chain when they said it was an actuator gone bad. He called his buddy there and he said it doesn't make any sense either, but unfortunately he wasn't the mechanic who looked at it. He's going to speak with him again this weekend and try to figure out what's going on. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation? Are there other possible culprits? Thanks for the help.
